Pope Francis is unique amongst religious leaders, not many leaders of other faith would dare to care for followers of other faith but he does. He was the first one to support Rohingya Muslims and now, he is highlighted the plight of Amazonian irrespective of country and religion, as the Amazon delta is under attack by economic vultures.
Skeptics always have an ulterior interpretation of Pope Francis but if we are to take facts as prima facie without colluding with our biases, we would see a perspective embracing humanity as a sublime tenet from his protest. I look forward to my religious (political) leaders to come forward and express similar solidarity for humanity.
